Invitations...

Looking to either do my own invitations or have them done professionally.  But looking for a resonable price.  Anyone have any ideas where I can get invitations from.  Check Michael's, they didn't have much of a selection.

Also has anyone got theirs down professionally and how much does it usually cost.

I bought my invitations at Creative Bags. I think I got lucky because I found on their sales items, boxes of 50 invitations (each containing the reply cards, directions cards and recepion cards) for $10 each. These are the ones that I can go to Wilton's website and use the templates for them and I can do it my self. I've seen them at Michaels for $40. You might want to check them out, you might get lucky. Hope this helps.

I was at Michael's yesterday and their invitations were on sale. The ones that are all in one box and you just enter your info and print yourself.

All invitations that were $54.99 were on sale for $34.99.

Each box had 30 invitations, rsvp cards, instructions cards and envelopes.

    Good luck!

Just got my invitations from Vista Print yesterday! I would post a pic but I don't know how and definitely don't have time tonight. But they are by far the cheapest option IMO

For 80 coloured (front and back) invitations on the highest quality paper ("linnen") as wel as 80 coloured RSVP cards, envelopes for all and 150 coloured labels it was under $100 including taxes and delivery charges. I selected the slowest delivery and it arrived in under about 3 weeks! I am SO happy with them.

When you go to the webiste, sign up, pick your stuff out and save them. Don't order right away as the company sends you tons of coupons! Wait for a 50% off coupon -or search for it online.

Best of luck with whichever you choose!

I bought my weddings from ExclusivelyWeddings.com

They were really good value for me because I needed so many invitations.  If you only need a small number they might not be worth it.

I was also looking at this website: www.budgetweddinginvitations.com

Also, If you rent your tuxes from Collins they're doing a promotion where you get your invitations free up to a certain dollar amount.  Something to consider.

    Good luck!

If you're into DIY here's my recommendation.

Go to http://www.downloadandprint.com for a wedding template.  Some are free, some are a fee, but usually the fee is small and the template includes all your wedding stationary.

Visit http://www.papercircle.ca for cardstock, paper, and pocket folds (if desired).  The prices are excellent AND it's a Canadian company so you don't pay duties.

Finally, find a good printer.  We printed our invitations at Printer.ca.  They are AMAZING.  The printing is so crisp and clear!

Overall our pocketfold invitations weren't super cheap, but we've been able to fit our entire stationary and thank-you card budget in what we would have paid a professional just to do the invitations (without assembly).
