My boyfriend was finishing up his MBA and they had to go to China as a class. So some of the significant others went along as well for fun! During that week it happened to be our 1 year anniversary of dating. Everyone had joked about how funny/cool it would be if we got engaged in China. I knew he wouldn't ask though because he wanted it to be a surprise and we just had talked about it. Anyways, the group just happened to be planning on going to The Great Wall of China on our exact 1 year anniversary date. Little did I know or was expecting, he asked a friend to take a picture of us and kneeled down on one knee!! It was definitely a surprise and so amazing!!! It was for sure a trip I will not forget!!
