custom Wedding gowns

Hello everyone i hope you can help!!!  When I was a little girl after I saw My Fair Lady I have dreamed of wearing the embassy ball gown Audrey Hepburn wore.  I am not able to find anything similar to it.  I did buy a dress but every time I look at it I cry. It isnt my gown.  Does ANYONE know of a custom wedding seamstress that I can trust to make my gown?  Thanks for your help

    I would take a picture of what you want over to a Mexican/Spanish dress shop. These shops make elaborate quincera dresses all the time and are really affordable as well. Just make sure you take a Spanish and English speaker with you as many do not speak English at all.

    I would suggest posting on your local board for this question. Only someone in your area or someone that has lived in yoru area will know trust-worthy seamstress that you will be able to go too.

    Definitely try your local board.  Before you put any money down for a custom, try something with the same general outline.  I'm not familiar with the dress, but look for the waistline, drape or shape, etc, to make sure the look will be flattering on you.

    If that style is flattering on you, than go for it.  Good luck!
