I know there are quite a few of you who've used Cakes by JoAnn for your weddings... just wondering if any of you have had communication issues with her?
I emailed her about two weeks ago, because based on all of the glowing reviews I'd read here, and her cake flavors, we decided to book her for our wedding next month. We emailed back and forth a few times -- she was really punctual in responding -- and she said she'd email me once she received my $100 deposit, which would be due September 1 to reserve my cake/date.
I mailed the check a week and a half ago. I hadn't heard from her, so I emailed her Monday to ask if she'd gotten the check yet. No response. I attempted calling her twice today, and both times it went straight to a voicemail box that stated the box was full and I could not leave a message. I checked my bank account, and the check has not been cashed.
I'm sort of at a loss. I'm not sure what to do. Have any of you had any problems with this vendor? Suggestions??
