Am I being unrealistic?/Shoe Goddesses PLEASE HELP!!

Ok so here's the sitch..
FI's cousin'd daughter, a teen is in the wedding as a junior hostess. She is a plus sized young lady. So we have gotten the dress from DB in cornflower blue

The dress is cute on her and she is comfortable with it. NOW the issues is shoes. They are having a super hard time finding a shoe that I like with her specific foot restrictions. So the deal is that I'm not picking specific shoes for everyone just the style type and color. In a nutshell she has a very fat foot and can't wear everything because the shoes wouldn't be comfortable and she needs a low heel. I found this shoe on jcp.com but she said the heel is too high. ANY SUGGESTIONS?? Please help! I want it all to work out but some of the stuff they have chosen so far has been too busy or too, too casual. So far I have looked on DSW, Target, K-Mart, & Sears websites as far as I can remember. Am I being too picky if I don't let her wear any shoe she wants as long as it matches the dress???

Can she just wear a flat? My niece is 14 and a hostess and she will be wearing flats. She's not experienced in heels plus being a hostess she will be up ok her feet for a long time. We are looking to find her something sparkly so it will still look dressy and age appropriate. She doesn't need to match my 25 and 30 year old bridesmaids.

No, I do not think it is picky for a hostess, especially a teen to pick their own shoes as long as they match the dress. Are flats with a little bling too casual?

put a couple girls in flats, that way she wont look so out of place in flats

Flats would be your best choice IMO and would probably look very well. You can add some bling to it with a shoe fastinator if you want more. Check on Etsy. PM me if you want the etsy shop that has really nice shoe fastinators...it may give you an idea of how you can make them more attactive.

I think it is just fine for her to choose her own shoes. Was she just opposed to the heel height of the shoes you have in your post? If so, just find a pair with a lower heel. See the pic below for example. Otherwise, I agree with the bridal flats. They have some very cute and dressy ones out there and should be easy to find a pair that goes well with her dress.

I agree with island07b2b I was thinking of something similar also my local DB has some really cute flats Im sure they have them in your area too or at least on the site. GL
