Re: my post on ballot posting---

Apparently twitter is awash with news that the ballot posting is causing lost votes for Obama because of some loophole and legality. Not sure...just heard this. Strange...

  • That...doesn't seem legal....

  • *pondering* I'm trying to remember all of this. I don't think it can nvalidate your vote, b/c they have no way of tracking that to throw it out. But you can be charged, though I'm not sure if it's a felony or a lesser charge.

The issue surrounding all of it is b/c it reveals the "secret". It all relates back to buying votes, b/c you could be taking a picture as proof that you voted the way you were suppose to.
  • Snopes saves the day! ;)

so the twitterverse is awash with concerns because a bunch of Obama supporters are dumb enough to post proof of (possibly, depending on state laws) illegal activities? (So the Romney, Johnson, et. al. supporters aren't a bunch of lawbreakers, eh?)

  • The Twitterati lean heavily toward Obama. I think it's more a function of its being a place where the Obama people hang out than it is that only Obama people are doing it.

But really, it's only *illegal* in a few states.

  • oh, i'm just trying to start trouble. :-)

I could care less. (we are one of the illegal states, though)
