my FI and I booked our photographer AND our officiant yesterday! This whole planning thing is a lot more fun once you start being able to get things decided, I feel so much less pressure now that things are starting to come together!
So far we have our venue (Los Vaqueros) which covers the ceremony and reception, they'll do the chairs, tables, linens and the food and drinks.
Then I found a dress maker on etsy so I think I have that checked off the list (though I still need to decide for sure and put a deposit down).
We got our save the dates on etsy as well. I think they're going to be really cute for all our out-of-state guests (i.e. the majority of my list!). The license plate is a detachable magnet.
Then yesterday we met with Erick from Love Pic Love and we both really liked his work and he was a really nice guy, I think our photos are going to be awesome!
And then after that we met with Khrymsun from Alternative Wedding Services and we really liked her too, she was so nice to take the time to show us all sorts of options for our ceremony. We still need to decide how the ceremony will be, but at least we know who is going to marry us now!
We still have several more things to figure out but its nice to have some things in the 'done' column
