Ceremony and Reception- Bonaventure Country Club- B+
Patty was wonderful to work with in the planning process, although a few times I was very nervous about her other coworkers. Many of the people that she had working with her had left from the time I signed my contract to the time of my wedding. And many times I felt like they had no idea what was going on but once I talked to Patty I always felt more comfortable.
The food was wonderful, location and set up was beautiful. I didnt really use the bridal suite, we decided to get ready at our hotel instead however I did hang in there for about 30min before the ceremony, Great place to hid and they brought drinks and a very nice fruit tray.
My only compliant was mostly from my guests. Many people said that the buffet was very good but that it was put away too fast, they did not have time for seconds, also many compliants that people never received a slice of cake after the cake cutting. And the staff was too fast to pick up drinks. food, and plates when people where not finished but just up dancing.
Overall I had a wonderful experience, but make sure Patty is your planner!
Rehearsal Dinner- Flanigans in Weston- A
Only thing we didnt like was we had to wait even though we had reservations and had spoke to the mananger that we were coming with a large party!Dress- Brides of America -A+++++
I recommend David 100%. He is my favorite vendor!. It is a small store but you are treated like a QUEEN!! I was lucky enough to find it at a bridal show by winning a gift certificate. David is honest and wants you to look beutiful he does not just want to sell you the dress. Appointments only store so I was the only one there and felt like I was on Say yes to the dress without the big price tags. All my bridesmaids bought there dresses here and so did my mom. He gave me earrings, my mom a brotch for her dress, and recommendations on jewerly and shoes.
Alterations- Brides of America Ahorra (might be spelling name wrong) A+++
I didnt need much but her price was one flat rate and included steaming of dress. She did a great job adding my gemstones and cups and making the dress shorter since Im petitie. She also did all my bridesmaids alterations!! Loved her. Speaks lil English but does wonderful work!!!
Invitations, response cards, table numbers, and place cards- Michaels -A
We did all our paper needs ourself. The only issue I had was with the table numbers because we did tents with pictures. I had a difficult time typing the table names on the right size. But the invitations and response cards were super easy, Great templates. If you want to save money this is the way to go. Make sure you take your coupons!!
Shoes- Davids Bridal -A
Hated the store tried them on, didnt have my size so ordered them offline and there were cheaper. Loved my shoes, had a difficult time finding blue
Flowers- Creations By Blanca- A-
I loved Blanca and her flowers. Everything turned out more beautful then I imagined. The only reason am not giving her an A+ is because she did not stay and remove my gazeboo decorations and place them on our sweetheart table. Good thing I realized it and our groomsmen were able to do it. My bouqets was gorgeous!! Wish I could have preserved it!!Every one was raving about the centerpieces and she placed the led lights just as we wanted! Great work and even better prices!!
Cake- Eddas -A+
From the small piece I had it was very good! It looked awesome!! Great work on my color combnations!!
Photographer and Video- Ron Wood Photography- A
Love all my photos, very professional on time, photos were online the next day. The only thing I wish they did different was had a microphone on the camera during the ceremony and speeches so we could hear everyone better. *For anyone that wants to see my pictures and video go to RonWoodphoto.com and click Nicole and Ryan under weddings*
I also loved how we have up to a year to purchase a photo book so we can use our wedding money towards it, instead of dishing it all upfront!! If you are looking for a afforable photography they were great!
DJ and Uplighting- Magical Times Entertainment DJ SCUBA STEVE- A+++
Scuba Steve was the best!!! He kept everyone dancing all night long. Played all the music we requested! The ceremony music was great and the uplighting was beautiful. My photographer said "this DJ has the best set up I have ever seen". All my guests are still raving about how wonderful he was. And one of my friends is going to use him for her wedding possibly.
I ordered my flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillow off ebay. They were gorgeous! Also got custom bags for my bridesmaids off ebay!
