I know that hotels will not let you bring in your own food, and most banquet halls will not. The only weddings i've been to that bring in their own food have been at VFW halls or Eagles clubs.

Sorry I can't be more help!

My recommendation would be the venue where I had my wedding, Greenmead Village in Livonia (8 Mile & Newburgh rd intersection). However, their kitchen is a "caterer's kitchen", meaning you can keep foods warm or cold (they have oven, fridge, freezer), but you cannot COOK or MAKE food in the kitchen (due to liability because it's city owned). So, if you prepared the food in advance and delivered it there, you'd be fine.

The chapel and banquet facility there are lovely, but the guest limit is under 100 for both. You can get contact info via my bio link below, go to the vendor tab.

There are a few places I've found that allows outside caterers:

    - Regency Manor, Southfield (the venue I booked)
    - Royalty House, Warren
    - Palazzo Grande, Shelby Twp
    - Petruzellos, Troy
    - Venetian, Madison Heights
