Hey girlies!

Okay so you don't have to rate your vendors ...I just wanted an eye-catching title of this thread.

How are your vendors doing?  Are they super nice and excited that you chose them?  Are their busy schedules becoming more apparent as they can't make the time you need for them? 

Reason for me creating this thread: My e-shoot got cancelled!  It was supposed to be for this week :\

    I would be upset if my eshoot got cancelled, reason being our schedules as brides getting married very soon dont have free wkds at all...I dont know what I would do, you sound totally calm regardless. My reception venue gave me a bit of trouble, I wrote a very polite but firm email saying it would effect their ratings and how I wouldnt recommend them (all politely put), my email worked miracles...the venue lady is on top of things right now!
    I hope you can still do your eshoot!

    Actually ...our videographer also cancelled a meeting with us....which we need to rebook.
    I was a annoyed b/c the photog cancelled it but my FI gave him a firm message that we didn't appreciate it :\

    Another funny thing...Our photog said he couldn't do the eshoot on the weekend b/c he's booked for weddings every weekend...BUT my make up lady said the same thing when I was booking a trial with her (she said I would need to come in on weekday)

    The excuse the makeup lady had is ok, I did my trial on a weekday too since my makeup artist works fulltime another job and does this also.But in my opinion a photographer has no excuse, when he/she books weddings they should know their schedule and not over book it to make each client happy, I think it shows they are unprofessional and unorganized that way. Same goes for the videographer cancelling on you!! ugh..I havent had much issues with the photographer and videographer but i can so understand how much of a headache that would be being so close to the wedding.

    Hi Jnsaini :)

    Ya I agree about the professionalism on both their parts...
    In saying that FI feels that we can't really 'tell him off' because we dont want to create any negativity between us and him.
    But I think it might be a good idea to remember this incident when/if he wants us to give him a review for his future clients about his services after the fact (like some vendors do)...

    I've head so much about both the photog and vidographer ... all of which was good stuff...

    *siiight* I'll let you know how it goes :$
