So...as some of you may or may not know...FI tore up some things in his knee when we camped on July 4th...torn meniscus and pattelar tendon...thinking he was going to have to be opened up in his knee....so we finally had our appointment today and the ortho doc says that yes, he does have the tears, but they are all so small that he didn't want to do surgery. Gave him a cortizone shot in the kneww and told him that if this doesn't do it, they we may have to look at the scope, but that recovery on that would only be a week or two so it shouldn't interfere with the wedding or honeymoon!!!!!! I think its GREAT news!!! FI is a little frustrated because he says they are not fixing it, they are just going with the shot and the "wait and see" approach...but I think its best case scenario!!! I'm super excited...hoping the shot will make his world go round...he has been out of work now for two weeks with pain in his knee and its not helping the wedding budget, you know! Anyway, glad to finally have some answers and look towards the wedding again and not surgery!
