small venue in metro Detroit!

HI ALL!
I am planning on getting married in January 2012...soon I know!!! We are thinking 50 to 75 people and would like an intimate venue with ceremony and reception.  I've contacted the Whitney (waiting to hear back) and the Iroquois Club (booked) and I was wondering if you had any other suggestions???  I  would really like to stay at around $50pp with alcohol, so please help......
thanks!

Try the Scarab Club. It's in Midtown. I don't know what their pricing is...but it's a cool venue.

I booked Colony Club, which is too big for you..BUT the Gem and Century theater was my second choice. They actually have 4 different unique rooms (theaters and dining rooms) that fit 50-200 people each. We didn't book it because we didn't want to separate the guests into different rooms during dinner. You wouldn't have that problem. They are managed by AWESOME people, Nicole and Allison. The food is fantastic. It's a little more expensive than what you are looking for, but they can break up their large packages to make it more affordable. FYI, in January they dropped their package by $5 per person, cut room rent in half, threw out the ceremony fee and gave me free uplighting. Good luck!

I just heard about a place called the Model T. Automotive Heritage Center.  They host weddings there.  I think you bring your own food.  I have no idea what it looks like, but it sounded fun.
