Valley Regency or Park Savoy

We are considering the Valley Regerncy on a Saturday next year or Park Savoy on a Sunday.  Pricing is about the same.  PS is nicer than VR but, not by that much.  We feel that having the reception on a Sat night outweighs the nicer hall.  What do you guys think?

    I am getting married at the Park Savoy next march so i'm clearly going to be very bias. I really love the venue personally more then the VR, but it ultimately comes down to your taste and the which venue speaks to you persay. I always wanted a mansion wedding with beautiful grounds and that is why I went with the PS, not to mention that it has been a very pleasant experience thus far. PM me if you have any more questions.     If you really want your guests to feel relaxed and enjoy themselves, choose the Saturday option. Most people are going to leave early and not drink/let loose on a Sunday the way they would on a Saturday since everyone is thinking about work and the upcoming week.

    I agree with cutiepie12702.  I would use the day as a deciding factor.  Saturdays are so much better for most guests.

    We would love to have it on a Sat at PS, but the price tag is an additional $70/pp x 175 guests!

    We are leaning towards VR on a Sat.  We want our guests to have a good time and Saturday's are best for it.

    Would you consider a Friday? I know the pricing decreases pretty drastically for PS.

    Its amazing that I found this particular post.  I was doing a destination wedding now we have reconsidered and these are my two picks.  Any recent feedback on each of them?  We are looking at fall 2013
