Rehearsal dinner - stuck - Need ideas please!

Hello,
I am helping out my parents with finding a rehearsal dinner location for my brother's wedding. 
He would like something more that just sitting at a restaurant.  He would love to have a backyard BBQ type party, but my parent's house is much too small.  
Dave and Busters is a possible option, however they do not have much of a selection for vegetarian meals.
Can anyone recommend a place that is somewhere from North of downtown all the way up to the West Chester/Mason area (preferably not too much West but the Hyde Park area is also an option)
Something that would be fun and affordable for parents on a budget.

    Thanks for the suggestions.  My brother would prefer a place that is not just a restaurant OR he would like some sort of small venue we can get for cheap and can bring all our own food and drink.  Thinking something along the lines of Dave and Bisters or a backyard BBQ atmosphere. Thank you!

    You could look into using one of those covered dining areas in a park somewhere. The ones that are just like a roof with a bunch of picnic tables underneath. I used to be involved in a choir in high school and at the start of every year we would have a picnic in a park around town somewhere. Not sure what the alcohol policy would be but I guess it depends on the park!

    Dewey's would be good! The Harper's Point location has a party room and set-menu option for larger parties.

    I second that on Deweys! That's where we are having ours! They let you mix, match, and choose whatever you want on your pizzas, so vegetarian options will be easy!
