FI and I went to our venue last night to make a payment and look at some logistics of the place again (for some ideas my mom and I have) and I fell in love with it all over again. This is the link:

http://www.venetianyachtclub.com/ What do you girls think? I love how so many of you are doing more country/rustic themes, I think your weddings are going to be so beautiful. I have never been to weddings like that, I wish I could attend some of yours! But this venue is soooo us, it's by the water which we both love, have a nice view, great food, and I find it very pretty inside.

I'd love to see your venues if anyone wants to post.

I'm booking my ceremony venue tonight at midnight because you cannot reserve it more than a year in advance. It's called Foster Park Bridal Glen in Fort Wayne and it is my dream venue!

I love everyone's venues! Mrs K I'm jealous of the theater venue. Here is ours http://www.grovelandfairways.com/gallery/gallery.php We're getting married outside and our cocktail hour will be on the patio outside. Since it's on a driving range there's lots of grass and trees around. We're both pretty happy with it.

Everyone has such cool venues!

We're doing a hotel reception and outdoor ceremony hosted by the hotel, so it'll be more traditional ballroom-ish looking. But we're going to do some really fun a quirky decor to make less formal/traditional. We want a blend of formal and quirky eclectic.

Definitely jealous of you guy's venues

They are all awesome!

Ours is a B&B out in the country. Ceremony will be on the wrap around porch + lawn and the reception will be inside their Carriage House.. Trying do decide what more decorations we need, but they do provide string lights for the reception area which is a plus!

We're having our reception near the ocean since we spend most of summers on the water. Although it is not right on the water, we are taking our pictures at the beach. We are going there next weekend to see what it's like in June!

Oh my goodness...your venues are amazing!! We don't really have anything like that around here...especially with our large guest list! Ours is just a building that used to be batting cages. Haha It sounds trashy, but it's not I promise! There aren't any pictures yet. The first wedding was two weeks ago, so he doesn't have the website up and running.

MissH, my FI would be totally jealous to know you were getting married at someplace baseball related. I'm sure if he could have his way we'd get married in Yankee Stadium or something cheesy like that. He's even getting his groomsmen personalized baseball bats and has this notion that they're going to take all these pictures with them. Whatever makes him happy I guess.

My little brother was trying to convince me to keep the batting cages up for the reception...UH NO!! Haha We are a HUGE baseball family too!

Since we're all sharing, here's my venue. Only one I seriously looked at after pricing out other places. It's only a few blocks from the church, which makes it nice for guests and the Square with shops and bars is nearby too. My event coordinator is awesome and does a great job to help make your wedding unique. Many co-workers from the district I student taught/subbed at are volunteers for them and might actually be apart of the setup of my reception!

Ceresville Mansion - it's a historic manor in Frederick, MD with a really pretty outdoor ceremony spot. I really like that they let you float candles/flowers in the reflecting pool.

Oh wow! I didn't even realize that! We almost were date twins except the 15th is my birthday so I opted for the following weekend. We were originally June 9th but our first venue fell through and now we're booking Ceresville for the 22nd.
