Where did you get ready for the big day?

I'm thinking about renting a suite and having the girls and myself get ready there. The ride to the church is about 15 minutes from the hotel. Is this a good ide?.....just need some feedback and what others did. I think also we can get some of the before shots with the bride and maids. One of my family members mentioned the dresses getting wrinkled. Any advice is helpful.

    We got ready in the lodge in the park where we held the ceremony.  Is there a room in the church that you could use to get dressed?  I would think that this would be easier and definitely cheaper.

    We're going to change in a conference room at the church.  We have the limo bus most of the day, so the bus will pick us up from the salon, drop off at church, and then go get the guys.

    We are getting married at his church we attend separate churches. I will have to look into that. I just thought that the hotel would be good for me I can relax the night before and prepare for the next day ....and get some photos of I and the girls. Thanks ladies.

    The girls and I got ready in one of the rooms at the church.  I would assume most churches have a room that brides usually use to get ready... after all, they host weddings pretty frequently!  The guys got ready in a different Sunday school room down the hall.

    We are getting ready in a hotel suite. We have hair stylists coming out to the hotel to do all of the BM's, moms and my hair, so it was easiest that way.

    In most of the weddings I have been in, we have gotten ready at the church.

    We're getting ready at a suite in the hotel. The hotel and cathedral are really close to each other and I'd rather get ready there anyways.

    Im doing the hotel thing. We are getting a suite. My church only lets the bride get ready there(I guess because the room is small. Im not really sure why) SO this gives the girls a place to get ready and EAT!! Dont forget to eat. I didnt eat at my shower because everyone wanted to chat and it didnt end well lol.
