Ceremony...ugh

So, I am really starting to freak out here...as some of you know my Fi & I just moved to DE so, we don't belong to a church yet. We are Catholic but w/ the 1 year rule, we're not sure we're even going to be able to get married at one of the catholic churches in our area. So, we need to still find a place to hold our wedding ceremony and we're about 7mo. out... and the venue is not an option. If any of you know of anywhere where they can accomodate the ceremony only for about 120-130ppl...please, please let me know and thank you! Also, while I'm writing...we are looking @ the following churches, anyone know anything about them? Ressurection Parish (right in our neighborhood) St. John the Beloved St. John the Baptist-holy angels We live in Pike Creek & would like to attend a church w/in our community, as that's important to us

The last 2 churches are very nice. I was married in Saint Margaret of Scotland which is not dreadfully far (on Rt. 40 just before MD line - same side as the Kohls). The priest there (Father Hopkins) is very nice and accommodating - married my sister and her 1st husband within 6 months including pre-cana as he was going off to boot camp part 2. I would recommend looking into it as they will likely be more willing to work with you.

Hi Dnyce! I am more of a lurker now, but I was married at Saint John the Beloved this past January and my husbaand and I had a WONDERFUL experience! We had 130-140 attend our wedding and SJB has more than enough room to accomodate. I am unsure about the 1 year rule as my family and I have been long time members (my 3 siblings and I all attended SJB for school and my mom is now a teacher there), but it is definately worth a look. Here are 2 of my favorite pictures. Let me know if you have any more questions! Good Luck!
