After researching cameras, we decided to go wtih a Canon EOS Rebel T1i. So we've been watching prices, waiting to make our move. Target clearanced those suckers last week and I got one for $250 off the orginal price.
Now I just need to get a memory card with a higher speed class. I thought the one I had already was what I needed, but it's not. I won't have time to go get one until this weekend, and I'm dying to play with this camera NOW. It's sitting on my dresser, taunting me.
In the meantime, I've read the manual it came with and have been reading tutorials online.
