Looking for local Stonington/Mystic Florist

Hello, 

My fiance and I are looking for a local florist to do our wedding flowers.  The date is July 27th and we're looking for bouquets for bride/2bridesmaides, 2 corsaiges for moms, 2 large bouquets for ceremony, approx 15 small arrangements for tables as well as assorted pedals for ceremony.  If you could please give us an estimate we'd appreciate it. We are open to ideas for the flowers depending on local seasonal arrangements.  Right now thinking hydrangeas, lillies and roses.  Thanks for the time.

    You should contact Melissa at Stylish Blooms (clicky). She's not local to the Mystic area, but I'm getting married in Mystic and she's delivering my flowers to Mystic. She's really great at budgeting.

    I used Flora Flora out of Mystic- she rocked- she even texted me pictures of my flowers as she was making them... just contact her via phone!

    LeFrancois florals was recommended by our venue, we did not end up meeting with them since we booked with Jane at Just for You first but I have only heard good things.

    I used Mystic Florist in downtown Mystic (http://www.mysticflorist.com/) for my wedding in Gales Ferry/Mystic last year, and they did a fabulous job!  I just needed bouquets and corsages, plus some flowers for the church, and they came out looking gorgeous.  I would highly recommend meeting with them, they worked with my budget and offered great suggestions when I was unsure what I wanted.  I had hydrangeas as well, as you can see below.

    From your post, it looks like you want vendors to contact you.  Unfortunatly (or rather, fortunately) vendors aren't allowed on these boards, so what you'll get is bries giving you advice.

    I'm using Christine of Azalea Floral Design.  She's up near Hartford, but she's doing a similarly sized wedding for us in Groton.  Give her a call - I found her prices very reasonable, and love her work!
