Information about Trilogy at Vistancia?

Hi everyone!
My fiance and I are recently engaged and are trying to find a venue.  We LOVE Trilogy at Vistancia in Peoria, but can't figure out where our guests would stay.  Aside from maybe 20 people that will be coming to the wedding, everyone else will be from out of town.  Does anyone have any recommendations for accommodations or shuttle services?  The closest hotel (Cibola Vista) is roughly 10 min away and doesn't have a hotel bar or shuttle service.  We just want our guests to have a great time while in AZ so it's important to us that there at least be a bar for them to go to afterwards.  Any advice would be awesome!

My friend and bm got married at Vistancia, she's on the website and their ads!
She had a gorgeous wedding and everyone loved it. Don't have your family stay at Cibola Vista, it's not dependable or all that great. Put your family and friends around 83rd and Bell Road, there are plenty of hotels and restaurants plus it's only 20 minutes to Vistancia- or you could do places around Happy Valley Road but there isn't as much to do there.

I was going to suggest 83rd and Bell Rd too.  There is so much to do there, and it's one of the few places (that I can think of at least) where people can walk to restaurants, bars, the mall, etc.  There's tons to do there, so people won't have to go far to find something to do or food.  It may be a little ways from Vistancia, but since you'll only be there for the one day (and maybe a rehearsal), the drive won't be bad :)

Thanks so much for the advice ladies!  I completely forgot about the Arrowhead area =) Sooooo much better than Cibola Vista!

My cousin got married at Trigoly in March and it was such a beautiful wedding!  Great banquet area- tons of room to dance!

She stayed at Cibola Vista and had an aweful experience.  Her sister and her stayed in a room the night before the wedding.  The next morning, after they had left, the groom decorated the room with rose petals, flowers, champaign and chocolate for him and my cousin to come back to after the wedding.  Well, they got back to the room after the reception and their key wouldn't work.  After about an hour of confusion and talking with the hotel staff, they found out that the room had been rented to someone else and the hotel had moved them to a different room, and DID NOT TELL THEM. My cousin stood in the hallway of the hotel in her wedding dress for 30 miutes while her groom was trying to figure things out.

It was so ridiculous. They ended up comping them both nights- but talk about a mood-kill!

So yeah, that's my advice- don't stay there and don't let your guests stay there.

I'm with Beckity- Ciboloa isn't professional, and they're constantly on the verge of an overturn, with different staff practically everytime I inquired. But that is awful tha that happenned! I couldn't imagine being all excited and happy...and the groom so proud of all the prep work..and then having it all collapse.
