wedding caterer

Hey ladies, I am on the search for a wedding caterer. We plan to invite 130 people to our wedding. Who are you using, what is included, and how much does it cost for your caterer to do the cocktail hour and dinner reception?

I used olympia catering, while they seemed a little expensive intially they didn't upcharge you for basic things that many caterer's do. Sherri was practically my DOC and I didn't have to pay extra. My Guests ranted and raved about the food all night and are still talking about it.

I'm using Good Food Catering of Tampa. Kevin is an amazing Chef and a very creative menu to choose from.  Our tasting was DEVINE and I'm so excited for my guests.  Pricing depends on how many, buffet vs. sit down.  It's not boring wedding food.  They will also manage the bar and linens.

Thanks girls. I don't want boring wedding food. ChrislovesBarry, were the linens a part of the package or was it extra.

Kevin customizes the packages.  He uses another vendor for the linens, but I figured it was worth it to have as little work for me to do.  Give him a call and let him know that Christina whose getting married on April 16, 2011 recommended him.  He's a GREAT Chef!!!

Thanks Christina, I called Kevin today. He doesn't usually do the food I'm looking for, but he would be able to contract out. He'll get a quote to me by next week.

Thanks for the info on Good Food Tampa.  I contacted Kevin a week or so ago and just hear back from him.  I set up a meeting for next week.

Im using Puff n Stuff for mine. They do every kind of food, have their own bar, ons of rentals, china was included and own their linens so theyre much cheaper than subrenting. Food was great and Amyee here is so quick. Theyre in orlando and tampa but shes here. good luck!
