1st week of Oct brides, can we have a collective FREAK OUT?!?

My wedding is October 5th, and:

- my dress still isn't done
- I don't have shoes yet
- I don't have jewelry yet
- I don't have a bag yet
- my FI doesn't have a tux yet
- my FI doesn't have a ring yet
- we don't have a menu from the restaurant yet
- none of the photobooth props are made
- what the hell am I going to do with my family while they're all here for 4 days
- OMG JUST OMG

I know 7 weeks is plenty of time to do all this, but ...

Do you feel me out there??

Most of my things are on hold until I know how many people are coming, which means I will have a lot to do a month before the wedding eeek.

I'm right there with you! It seems the more I get done, there's more to do! My plan is to get the big stuff done and then focus on the little things. This is my 2nd wedding, so there aren't as many little things to do, but I'm still freaking out that I'll forget something and it will "ruin" my day (even though I know it won't).

Hahaha, I just keep making more lists. It seems like there's a never-ending list of the "little things". I feel like I'm at a standstill until I get my RSVPs back at the end of August. Then I can start moving on table numbers, linens, pay vendors, order beverages, etc. AND every weekend is filled up for us until the wedding. When will we do it all???

Im trying to get as much done now as I possibly can. Try doing the little things now when you have time. This past weekend I put together all out favors, they are boxed and out of the way in the basement. Will there be extras, sure but I was willing to have extras rather then be rushed closer to the day. Relax, everything will fall into place :-)

I definitely feel better now that the invites are sent out and done! Now it's just waiting for the RSVPs and all that go with it!

I'm with Dana, trying to do as much now as possible. Last weekend I made a list of week by week things that need to get done up until the wedding. It's a little overwhelming but it helps keep me on track for the week.I can't believe we're measuring time left in weeks now rather than months!!

I'm October 6th and I think I have just been freaking out about little things if anything. I have an idea of a lot of things, but they aren't technically done. I need to figure out some of my "somethings", my earrings, and food for the reception. FI's dad and stepmom graciously offered to buy the pig for a pig roast, so I am left with figuring out, and planning the side dishes. I think this is what is bothering me the most right now!

FI and I have friends getting married this weekend. I sent her a text the other day and said "How are you holding up?". She responded with "I have so much anxiety I feel sick to my stomach. I hope you don't feel like this when you get closer to your wedding."

That freaked me out a bit!!!!

geeze, that makes me nervous NOW.

I really need to get a move on on wedding stuff, I am just finding it so hard to get myself motivated!! I need to make some lists. I've got to get it done now or else I am going to start really freaking out once school starts up again!

Freaking out can most certainly commence.

We still have:
- four suits left to get
- FI suit jacket
- Pay off florist
- Book extra photog time and pay that off
- Pay off hair/make-up
- Get my rings soldered together and resized
- Go for my second fitting

I see your wedding related stuff and raise you closing on a house the weekend before the wedding and going back to school full time in about 3 weeks! I am so stressed that I can't even process my stress.
