Rehearsal DInner Suggestion

I'm looking for a nice restaurant for a rehearsal dinner, either in the Fishkill/Beacon or Cold Spring/Garrison areas. We are getting married at the Highlands country Club in Garrison.  Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.  Thanks!

A friend of mine had hers at Blue Fountain in Hopewell. It was nice. I keep hearing about a nice restaurant in Beacon but I can't remember the name. I'll get back to you when I do!

I will be planning my RD for the same areas. Coldspring/Beacon. I will be looking into Riverview and Cathryns, in Coldspring. In Beacon I was going to check into Cafe Amarcord.

I almost did the Blue Fountain but if you want to be closer to fishkill, i would also suggest Hudson's Ribs and Fish...it isn't just seafood, they have a small private room and the food is great.  Also, any of he waterfront restaurants in Newburgh would work...Torches, etc.

We did the Bird and the Bottle Inn in Cold Spring last August. II have to admit, it wasn't our first choice, but actually it turned out really great. The food was good, the owner is extremely nice and pleasant to work with. We spent our cocktail hour outside in the garden, which is very pretty. We got married at the Garrison, so our guests commented on how different the two places felt, one from the 1700's and the other new and stylish.  You can also try the Garrison, they have a small private room for smaller parties. Someone mentioned Cathryns before, depending on hoe many people you have it may not work. We had 40ppl and they were not able to do a party for 40ppl - they had no bar packages also, so that would have been quite pricy anyways.

We are getting married at the Garrison and we are having ours at Henry's On the Hudson in Peekskill which is just a few minuets from the Garrison.  They are giving us a great deal and the food is delicious and the view is amazing.  We are also having our out of town guest stay there for a great rate.
