Share your secret....

beauty regimen! I remember I posted about trying to get that hollywood glow for the wedding day! Some mentioned Carols' daughter products. I went out and get me some and I love it!

Anybody else have any beauty routines or products for skin or amazing hollywood looks?

The only beauty regimen I have is to have clean teeth. My face has a lot of acne scars but men noticed my smiling eyes and clean white teeth always!

I started using premium shea butter (it comes in a large, circular jar and it's off-white, not yellow) on my skin - face and body - a few months ago and it's never been so clear, even and moisturized!  I will continue all the way to my wedding and hopefully the foundation will just be to enhance rather than cover up!

Also, I take a multi-vitamin, fish oil pill and a Alpha Liopic Acid (ALA) pill every day - this has helped my hair retain length, my nails get stronger and my skin get clearer.

One more that helps the skin and body!  I drink the following drink every morning as soon as I wake up and it's helped me maintain my weight and made my skin glow!

    - 2/3 cup of water
    - 2 tablespoons of Bragg's All-Natural Apple Cider Vinegar
    - 1 tablespoon of Lakewood Organic Lemon Juice
    - 1 tablespoon of honey or agave nectar to sweeten

Mix it up, drink it every day and you will see great results!

Don't let yourself go after you get married. I feel like I stopped doing a lot of the healthy rituals I always did- like daily walks, plenty of water, lots of fruits and veggies. With that said: I also love products with vitamin E. They keep your skin firm and prevent scars.
    p.s. Good Post!

Keri_hurst scars is a huge problem for me.  I've been trying the Ambi line to, but I'm not diligent about it, so I haven't seen any results.  Those are all great tips ladies.  I'm going to definately try the mix Cincy.  I wish I have some tips to share, but I do not.  I'm just absorbing all of the great info from you ladies.

Oh yeah I do.  This may be a no brainer on the AAW board, but wrap hair up at night in a silk scarf.  I sleep insanely wild so I have to wrap my hair up in two or three scarves in case one falls off.  I had actually stopped doing it because I got lazy and was annoyed at the fact that they wouldn't stay on my head, but I find that when I do wrap my hair up at night my hair style lasts much longer than it does if I don't wrap my hair up at night.

Shea butter, vitamin E or cocoa butter all help with scars.  Also, a girl I know uses a brand called Clear Essence - they make cleansers and other products for ethnic skin.  They have something called body milk (or something like that) that she said reduced her scarring very quickly!

</div><div>You may want to try the new Crest Whitestrips 3D Professional Line.  I got it on sale at Target last week and had a $10 coupon from a mailer I got, so it was about $33.  That stuff works!!!  I put it on for 3, maybe 4 days and I was getting comments on how white my teeth were.  I didn't even need to use anymore, although I think they give you enough for 2 weeks of treatments.  The box says it gives the same result as professional whitening that costs hundreds of dollars, and I agree.  Good luck!
