Gifts for parents

What are you ladies giving/gave your parents? We are having a rehearsal dinner and will be doing gifts for the bridal party and parents of the bride and groom and cannot decide what to give our parents. We would like to spend >$100. Is that not enough?

    We made photo books after the fact for them.  We didn't do anything for them the day of.

    Our photographer has a great rate for extra photo books (the coffee table style ones) so we'll probably do that for our parents. We'll give them flowers and a card at the RD explaining what they'll be receiving.

    we got FFIL a very nice pocket watch from amazon.com for under $100 and our mother's each are getting a necklace that suits their style
    TTC since December '11 -- stopped BC

    Diagnosed PCOS/anovulatory in March '12 and started Clomid 100 mg
    2 cycles of Clomid 100 mg - nothing
    1 cycle of Clomid 150 mg - nothing but thinned lining
    1 cycle of Femara - nothing
    Started Gonal-F + Ovidrel + TI 6/28/12 -- BFN
    Started Follistim + Ovidrel + TI 8/1/12 -- Fingers crossed

    We are doing photo books after the wedding. We are also doing nice heartfelt thank you notes/letters.

    We're going to be doing a nice framed print for my parents and his dad/stepmom, likely a photobook for FI's mom/her husband.

    I made photobooks for our parents for the holidays, so I have taken the photos and put them on a digital frame for my parents (who have wanted one for a while).  We got a family tree from a very talented woman on Etsy for C's parents because they have commented several times on the one that we had made.  

    Photobooks are easy to make - Apple's iPhoto program makes lovely ones if it is not a part of your photography package.  

    I looked at the gifts as what is something that they wouldn't get for themselves and went from there!

    We're doing photobooks for our parents, but I wanted to give them something at the RD. I looked on etsy and I ordered this necklace for each mom. Our families are small enough that everyone's name could fit. (e.g. my FMIL's necklace has her name, FFIL's, FSIL's, her husband's, their 2 kids', FI's, and my name on it.)
