Hi All,

I am looking for a makeup artist in the Charlotte area for my May 2012 wedding.  I have a small wedding party (myself and two 16-yr-old bridesmaids).  Any recommendations?

    Elizabeth Tolley, she's been a board favorite on here for a while. We had her travel from Charlotte to Raleigh for my wedding. I was really happy with her work.

    I can't get a response from Elizabeth.  In fact, I'm having a difficult time getting responses from several artist inquiries.  Perhaps when they see that my wedding party is so small, they determine it's not worth interrupting their holiday weekend (Memorial Day) or they want to hold the date open for larger wedding business.Frown

    I got my makeup done with Daniel at Planet 21 Salon in Southend.  He did a great job - I'm not sure what their working hours are, but he came in early to do my hair and makeup.  Feel free to email me if you have any more questions lisarb@gmail.com

    I'm using Jessica Dunn of La Bella Hair and Makeup for my wedding next week.  She's very prompt in her reply and has been wonderful to work with.   He rates are extreamly reasonable as well.   http://www.labellahair-makeup.com/

    I'm using Jennifer House at Makeup for Your Day. She's been great to work with! I have my portraits Sunday, so I can let you know how she is. I've heard great things about her on here and they've won lots of awards.
