South County Rehearsal Dinner Location!

Hey ladies!

I am running into a huge dilemma trying to find a venue for a rehearsal dinner.  I want to do something really casual and on the beach.  The north beach clubhouse in Narragansett is already booked and I can't think of anyplace else!  We are going to have about 50-60 people, so it would be way too expensive to have it at a restaurant in the area.

I'm open to any suggestions!  Thanks :)

    The South County Museum is really reasonable....relatively close to the beach. It can be outside.... Might be something to look into :)

    Maybe try Galilee Beach Club?  They have onsite catering so it might be more expensive than nb clubhouse, but they can set things up on the beach as far as I know.  You don't need to be members.

    Not South County but what about ABC in Newport, they do a buffet for like $17 a person and thats right on the beach.

    It's not on the beach, but we're having our rehearsal dinner at Simon's (the martini lounge above Charlie O's Tavern). It's our favorite place in South County, and we've been going there for years so it has a lot of sentimental significance for us.

    I'm fairly sure they could accomodate 50 for a buffet dinner, although you wouldn't have seating for that number at one time. Their prices are quite reasonable, and you would have access to the space for 3-4 hours.

    That's a great idea!  I love Charlio's.  Do you know how much they charge per person for a buffet?

    Turtle Soup?  
    Matunuck Beach Pavillion & have a cook out? The town of South Kingstown owns the beach.  They have grills there & you can just bring all the food..... I know you said on the beach but I am looking into doing Rehersal dinner at Auturo Joes, love the food there and it was one of our 1st dates ;)
