We sent out our invites last week and have been getting responses since last Tuesday(which is exciting!).

We selected the music for the ceremony and the song for our first dance. I booked the hotel for our wedding night and made most of our table runners yesterday. I also decided to surprise him, after telling him I wasn't going to wear a veil, by purchasing a veil yesterday. I also ordered the invitations for the rehearsal dinner and found two really cute dresses-one for my shower this weekend and one for the RD. We have 47 days to go and now that the major planning is over I'm enjoying figuring out all the details!

    I'm excited, but this week I went from thinking I was done with almost everything to realizing I have all these little projects left. :) I'm still feeling pretty stress-free, though.

    My big project over the next two weeks is figuring out the napkin embellishments. I'm looking forward to getting all the RSVPs back so I can figure out where everyone will sit. Even though our wedding is smaller, I can imagine that I will overthink the seating chart. Any projects for you?

    I wanted to make our chalkboard (for the menu) this weekend but it was raining and I couldn't get outside to paint it. Other than that the seating chart, the programs and printing out our pictures for the clothesline picture display.

    Mailbox stalking is my new hobby:) It makes me so happy to see those little response envelopes in the mailbox!

    Congratulations!

    My wedding is still over eight months aways but I accomplished a lot of planning and even bought a few things over my spring break! I wish I could surprise Matt more. He is my best friend and I have such a hard time not asking for his opinion and keeping secrets.

    congrats on getting so much done! you must be superexcited, its so close!

    ledalia- I agree with you. Tom is my best friend, and an artist like me, so I value his opinion on aesthetic stuff. Hes actually taken over the paper goods, invitations and placecards, etc lol bc I was so indecisive. Its hard for me to keep stuff from him, I get so exvited over this stuff I just want to share it all with him!
