ugh food and beverage min change!

So i had my cousin email firefly for me to see what they would tell her the f&b min wuld be. they told her $1200....but told me $6000 for the same day!! we really wanted our reception there....what should we do? Should i ask them why the difference or just have my cousin correspond with them?

    I would have your cousin do the initial correspondence and kind of get them locked into the rate you want and then later just casually ask why the difference was so large AFTER you are under contract.
