AFFORDABLE wedding photographer?

Our wedding will be next April in North Alabama.

Can someone PLEASE suggest a photographer that would cover our wedding for less than $1,000?! I think $1,000 is our maximum budget for this and I can't find ANYONE less than $2,000.... and then we'll have to order prints on top of that!

check out photographyshoppe.net Their base package is below and doesn't include a lot but still more than most AND you can print your own prints from the store which can save you A LOT. I now it's more than $1000, but not much and they may be willing to work with you on the price if you can't come up with the extra 95.

thats who we are using. we are also getting married in april. april 8th in fact. we met with sam and he is very nice and everything looked good that we looked at. he is working on his website but the package we are getting is only $650. you get parent books and an album. these are printed like books instead of pictures put in albums. he also give you the pics on CD with rights to them so you can take and have them printed anywhere.

I know what you mean! I had an acquaintance start out quoting me $1600, and he's not even very good!

Here's the photographer I'm probably going to go with. I found her through a girl who said her mom has been a coupon queen in planning her wedding--she also helped me find a $200 gown! Her lowest package is $950, but since you're out of the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham area she'll probably charge you mileage.

we are going to the college and hiring at student that is in there last semester they will work cheap and has had the training, they get to have experience and you have a wedding photographer cheap. Its a win win for both of you.
