Big Island wedding - Mauna Lani versus Mauna Kea?

Hi girls! This is my first post and I am hoping you all can help! 
I have spent a lot of time on the Big Island growing up, and will be getting married there in February 2012. I am just now choosing a venue and am very torn between the Mauna Lani and the Mauna Kea. Does anyone have experience at either? What can you say about the wedding coordinators (PInkie at ML, Piilani at MK) - did it feel resort-y, or did it feel special? What was your experience?

Any and all input is appreciated! I am pulling my hair out trying to make this decision!

    Hi Carey,
    ICongratulations on your engagement!   am getting married at Mauna Lani on August 4 so can't give you much information as to how it felt as I have never been there but working with Pinkie has gone well.  If you go to the facebook page for Mauna Lani Bay then you can see various wedding photo links of other weddings that have been held there on the wall and that has been extremely helpful in giving me ideas.  Pinkie works well with you to give you exactly what you want and although correspondence isn't always extremly quick for mainland standards she has answered all questions prior to the decision timeline mandated.  If you have further questions you can send me a personal message.

    I don't know about either one but I am a Big Island bride as well (getting married on April 20, 2012) and would love to hear what vendors you will be using.
