ISO: Reception venue with city views

We're starting to plan a reception in Chicago and we're hoping to find a venue with views of the city that's reasonably priced.  Our guest list is about 100-130 people and we'd like to be indoors.  We just checked out the Holiday Inn Mart Plaza and it's beautiful but probably a little too big for us.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I guess anywhere you can get above like 10 floors should have decent views. Check out the Allerton, we looked there, the ballroom is on the top floor. Signature Room, the Met Club at the Sears Tower (dont know if they do weddings?), I'd check all the hotels and see what floor their ballrooms are on. That's all I can think of now! Good Luck!

West Grand Studios provides a great view of the city but it is not in the heart of downtown....reasonably priced though

I am getting married at the met club in september. Great venue and the catering director, joe flynn, is so great to work with. We searched and searched about 5 venues till we found the met club.

Thanks for the suggestion edwinajon!  We don't necessarily have to be located in the heart of downtown, but we really want the view.  Westgrand Studios sounds PERFECT!

Our reception will be at the Westin on Michigan Avenue in the 16th floor ballroom. Right downtown with great views of the Mag Mile. It fits your guest count and is a reasonable price for downtown Chicago. Phyllis Washington is our contact there and she has been wonderful throughout the planning process.
