All my major checks, are checked!

We have checked off our last of the big checks (with the exception of the tuxes, and my seamtress)- the florist! And thank goodness my grandmother loves me so much, because she offered to pay for them after I thought I'd pass out at the total. 1k for flowers?! I'm seeing that it really isn't abnormal, but my goodness! How much did you guys pay for flowers?

Our flowers include: roses in ivory, golden yellow and canary yellow.

Two types of orchids, in white and yellow (oncididiums and cybidium)

And stephanotis.

NWR: Also, if anyone can send me some good luck vibes, four-leaf clovers, lucky horse shoes or anything... please do! In one week I have dropped my phone in a puddle, my just paid off laptop died and I was rushed to the ER last night for appendicitis. Seriously, I need some good luck vibes!

However, FI did get me an awesome Canon Rebel camera for Valentines to replace the camera that was slowly going downhill.

So I've met with 3 florists so far, and each one has quoted me around $2500. Now doesn't $1000 sound like a steal? Haha.

Oh man that's a rough few days. Glad you are ok. Sending vibes your way for a better week. My flowers are going to be right around 2k. For 6 bm bouquets, 6 groomsmen bouts, FIs bout, 2 fathers, one grandfather, 2 mothers, 2 church arrangements, and about 20 centerpieces. Not terrible but still not cheap.

Sending you some positive vibes, hope this is a much better week for you!

I paid around 2k for my flowers, but we are getting centerpieces, 2 large arrangements for the ends of the aisle, flower petals for the aisle, my boquet, 1 BM boquet, 8 bouts for GM/Guys on my side, and flowers for the parents/grandparents. I think I got a pretty good deal considering how much I am getting.

I always hear things come in 3's so phone, laptop, appendix...that should be all the crap flying your way!!! How are you feeling though??

I'm paying about $400 for my flowers. That isn't any centerpiece items...it is my bouquet, 6 BM bouquets (they are just small nosegays though), 2 corsages, and 12 bouts in total. I'm also using "real touch" flowers so I can pick them up a few days before so no delivery fee which saved me $50.

I'm so relieved that the flowers really weren't ourageous, you guys almed my nerves a ton!

Volleygurl: Oh goodness, haha, I hope you are right. Maybe I'll get three good things to happen next? I'm still really sore, and I guess the breathing tube was a bit rougher than they said because I can barely speak. But nothing the medicine and a few days of sleep can't fix I guess. Thanks for asking!

I thought my flowers would be more around that price, 400 sounds more reasonable. I had intitally planned to go with realtouch, but my grandma offered to buy me flowers so I went with her choice. I'm so curious about them though! What types of flowers did you go with?
