  I like Oprah (and her magazine) but never watch her, I mean I guess it's geared to soccer moms who are home at that time?

  My FI was out of work from November to August. He watched Oprah and Ellen every day. I think he was secretly a little upset when he heard about this.

  I just started getting back into oprah this season.  I think she did go way off the last few years..but at least it seems like she will be leaving on a high note.
  
  There is no way i can deny her any props even if i didnt watch her show...she has done what no one else has. Go Oprah!!

  lol..yea tyra is not one of my favs. i try to give her a chance but i can never make it through a whole show. Her and rachel ray just dont do it for me.

  just watched it too. It def was sad...damn 25 years is a long time and she is right about people growing up with her. I def did.
  
  I doubt there will ever be a relacement.  i just think of all those small business that got awesome boosts after being on her show.  I dont see any other show out there being able to do that right now. 
  
  If you have a product you better get on oprah in the next 18 months! lol

  My dad HATES Oprah for some reason. He's like, "She's such a phony! Charity this and that. Then why doesn't she give more of her billions away?!"  It's not even allowed to be on in the room when he's in there.

  i can find things i love about both oprah, tyra, whoever else lame talk-show host.  as long as you don't take what they say 100% to heart, you can mostly laugh at 1/2 thatcrap they broadcast.  props to the big O for 24 sucessful years, and 1 more to entertain the world (er, at least anyone home at 4pm?)
