ceremony/reception venues

I am looking for a unique yet affordable (out of five stars of expense, it would rank 2.5 -4ish out of 5) place to get married (restrictions-no plantation house, no hotel banquet room, no country club). We are looking for a place to fit approx 200 ppl. during the summer months. I have looked through the main wedding search sites and have looked at most of the "common places" for weddings. I am looking for the places that aren't usually listed on those popular sites that fit those parameters (hopefully, I am not being too picky).  Thank you in advance for all of your help!

I've heard great things about this place. It is a little out of the way but well worth the trip.

King Plow Arts Center, Trolley Barn, The Foundry at Puritan Mill, Bam Studio (this may be too small for you, I don't remember their capacity).

I'm getting married at Che'ne Rouge. Its a little outside of Atlanta but its not a plantation house, hotel ball room, or country club! They offer all inclusive packages or I believe you can bring in your own venders if you want.

Cavendar Castle is beautiful, but expensive. I'm getting married at one of the wineries in the North Georgia mountains and I cannot wait! The views, vines, everything is gorgeous and perfect for an outdoor summer wedding!

Check out the Gala Facility.  I was going to choose this place, but my fiancee did not like it much and we had to choose a place we both agreed on.  The Gala is not too big, and very nice venue for both wedding and reception.  The sales representatives were also very easy to work with and accommodate your needs.

Hope you find what you are looking for :)

Oh my goodness, I just checked out all these places and they look GREAT!

I am recently engaged and on the hunt for affordable wedding + reception venues (I'm all about having this shindig in one place!) Our budget is about $5000 total.

If anyone has any more places to suggest, please send them my way!
