Help! Surprise 30th bday party for my husband the day after our wedding!

We are getting married May 4, 2013 in Hartford. His bday is the next day. I figured it would be a nice surprise to throw him an awesome party esp. since his family will still be in town fro the wedding. 

Can anyone please suggest places in the Hartford area?  I would like to spend less than $1500 if possible. I'm open to brunch or an evening event.

Also, do you think mailing out a seperate invitation is best or should I include a 2nd rsvp card in the wedding invitation? Everyone invited to the wedding is invited to his surprise party.

    I love my family, but the day after the wedding I just wanted to chill out and relax. Having another party so soon would have been too much for me. 

    That said, you know yourself and your FI best. I would send separate invitations if you're keeping the party a surprise, and perhaps have them sent to your parent's hosue so he doesn't see them. 

    Unfortunately I don't know any places in the Hartford area.

    I say this kindly, but I'm not sure people will be really excited for 2 straight days of toasting, celebrating, and giving gifts to your husband.

    That said, I'd do a separate invitation.

    I'm not expecting gifts and will make that known. I want everyone to come and have a good time. His family are party people so another party is a plus for them! I think they would expect me to do something for his 30th bday while they are in town so they can celebrate with him.
