what does it say about my family that I got 2 copies of this

One from each of my sisters, at my baby shower?  (yes, the shower posts remind me, mine was this past Saturday :p)

The Inappropriate Baby Book: Gross and Embarrassing Memories from Baby's First Year

It has pages to fill in w/ things like "the first time I had to have mucous sucked out of my nose w/ a rubber bulb was...." and "the first word I said inappropriately in pubilc was..."

my sisters are the awesome.  (and the shower went OK...although my momma was sick and my uncle died right before so tings were...'off' a bit.  Not complaining about either of those--it just added stress to good people's lives which sucks)

things are going OK.  I'm exhausted and I've had one or 2 more "wah, I'm frustrated, halp" break-down into tears more than I'd like to admit to but all in all, it's good.  I've no idea how I"m going to manage to go back to work though :-P

The Mr. has been amazing (he DID manage to take more time off...he basically ebayed everything of value in the basement ).
I just ordered more cloth diapers, now that we've determined the cheappie ones I liked actually *work* (at this stage.  They may not in a few months but, meh) and the ONLY thing I dislike about nursing is that the Mr. can't help w/ it...the Mr. is going to start introducing bottles tonight :-)

And the baby is adorable and demanding

That sounds like an awesme gift.  I'm glad the husband got to stay home longer.  Things will even out and you'll get a groove going.

That takes me back.  Looking back, I am surprised by how much easier things have gotten as she's gotten older.  Hang in there--I swear, every month is a little easier than the last.  And when they can finally start communicating back, it gets considerably easier.
