Best time to book a honeymoon to Hawaii?

We are getting married in October but not taking our honeymoon vacation until January.  Our plans are to go to Oahu Hawaii, does anyone know the best time to book our trip?  Just curious if there is a certain time of year to get a great price.

    In my experience, flights are the cheapest about 3-5 months in advance (sometimes a few weeks in advance, but that's not a risk I'd take with my HM).  Oahu is usually the cheapest island to fly to as well.  As far as hotels, I'm not sure how much they vary in the time period you are looking at.  My suggestion would be to set up a fare alert and keep an eye on the pricing trends for a while.

    With gas prices going up, you never know though, so it's really hard to predict how fares will be affected, particularly that far in advance.
