I have to say my wedding (10/29/11) was amazing and it was all due to my amazing vendors: They all get A+ from me!!
Venue: The Commons 1854, Topsfield MA - just can't say enough good things about them. I chose The Commons because I could tell from the start they are as meticuluous as me and I wasn't disappointed. Our coordinator, Johanna as well as the owner Kristi were extremely easy and pleasant to work with. The food was amazing and the portions very generous. I just loved everything about the place!
DJ: Jimmie Espo of Move It Music - I love Jimmie. I knew Jimmie previously so using him as our DJ was a no brainer. He had everyone up on the dance floor all night and was a terrific MC. The DJ can make or break your wedding and Jimmie definitely made ours. Plus he's just a really nice guy.
Flowers: Isabel Original Revere MA - OMG. My flowers were AMAZING. My first florist went out of business unexpectedly and a friend recommended Isable to me. I was little skeptical at first because her store is also a clothing store (she designs the clothes herself) but the flowers were gorgeous and very very reasonably priced. We had ENORMOUS centerpieces and the bouquets were stunning. She also altered my MOH's dress at the last minute and it was beautiful. It's one stop shopping and Highly highly recommend her!.
Photography - Will Tangorra - I haven't seen the wedding pics yet but if our engagement pics are any indicator, Will is amazing. Our engagement pics were just breathtaking. We did miss some of the bridal party shots but mostly because we tried to do all of our formals before the wedding but I was late and we were short on time and then we (bride and groom) were having too much fun with our guests to want to interrupt our cocktail hour for pictures like normal people. lol. I'm sure that whatever pictures he was able to get will be amazing.
Transport - Webb Transportation - Bernie at Webb Transportation was just about the nicest person you could ever do business with. They were absolutely fantastic and got the job done even in the freak snow storm we had on the 29th! I was really impressed with their level of customer service and our driver was also super nice. Highly recommend them!
Dress - Bride and Belle in Medford - Don't listen to any of the bad reviews on yelp. Teresa and her staff were just amazing. I found the dress of my dreams off the rack there and they held onto it for almost a year for me and it was perfect the day I picked it up. The alterations went smoothly and they absolutely did everything they could do to make the experience wonderful. They are a small shop but a busy one. They are really wonderful there, much better than the folks at David's!!!
Shoes - Shoes to Dye For in Natick - GREAT selection of dyables! Check 'em out!

I couldn't agree more. This was our last stop where we found the dress. It was only the last stop because I forgot they were there! I LOVE them! It was the best experience.
Congratulation!
We have an appointment at the Commons next week (our wedding is planned for summer 2013), they are my first choice so far from all the on-line research and I'm happy to read some good reviews on here!
My only concern is that they give you 5 hours, is that generally enough or did you end up extending the time?
I am from Russia and the weddings there usually last way beyond 5 hours, so I'm not sure what the common practice is here.
Thank you and congrats once again!
