OOT Note

In my out of town note to the guests, what type of things should i include?  The hotel is the Pearl River Hilton,

    To our dear friends and family,

    Welcome! Thank you so much for coming to celebrate with us. It means a great deal to both of us to have each of you here. We hope that this welcome package makes your stay a little more enjoyable.

    Our ceremony begins at 4:00 at St. Augustine Church in Ossining. Directions from the hotel are included.

    Our reception begins at 7:00 at The Clubhouse at Patriot Hills in Stony Point. Driving directions from both the hotel and the church are included, but shuttle service will also be provided. The shuttle will arrive at the Comfort Inn at 6:15 and will leave promptly at 6:30. Please meet the 50-passenger bus (provided by West Point Tours) in the front of the hotel.

    The shuttle will depart Patriot Hills at approximately 12:05 to return to the Comfort Inn.

    If we may be of any assistance during your stay please do not hesitate to ask. Again, thank you so much for spending the evening here with us and we look forward to a fabulous night!

    We didn't have a shuttle, but our note said basically the same thing as pp. We included directions and also a note about brunch the following morning. We mentioned that it was included in your stay and that it opened at 7am. (In case anyone wanted anything early) But we also mentioned that we hoped they would join us at 10am. And we mentioned checkout was at noon.

    Ours thanked them for joining us on our day, listed the time of the shuttle, information about joining us at the hotel bar after and about brunch the next day.  We included a brochure about Rockland County and the Stony Point Battlefield in the bag in case anyone was looking for activities but did not mention anything in the letter.

    our was short- we didn't have guests that were really OOT necessarily but many spend the night in the hotel we had.

    here was ours

    We are so glad you could come celebrate with us.  We are excited to have everyone here for our special day.  We have included some snacks and items to make your stay more comfortable.

    Please also join us for breakfast on Saturday morning here at the Courtyard Marriot.  Breakfast will be served from 8am-11am. We look forward to celebrating with you, so put on your dancing shoes!!
