Dance Lessons

Does anyone have any good reccomendations for dance teachers in the San Fernando Valley?

I feel a little ripped off by Arthur Murray dance studio and I don't feel like we have our dance down at all!! Thanks!

    PasadenaBallroomDance.com is highly recommended.  Both Erin and Tami are excellent teachers, with them emphasis on getting you dancing, not having your foot and neck in exactly the right position.  If you have time before the wedding, take the group classes in ballroom, then take a couple of privates with either of them.

    My wedding photographers also do dance lessons. They're a married couple and actually met through dancing. Too cute. Also, they're really wonderful people, SO easy to get along with.

    We plan to take a beginning class at a community college first...to get the basics down.  Then do a few private lessons to learn our songs.

    I was told that if you wanna do private lessons from the get-go, it might take about 8 - 10 lessons...if you and your FI are completely dance newies (hehehe..we are!)

    Take a ballroom class through the parks & rec department.  We loved ours, and it was a great date night each week for us!

    If not, I recommend Janet Snyder - I think her website's like danceten.net or.com or something like that.
