Hoping for some suggestions on caterers in Seattle area. Thinking of doing hearty appetizer and desserts for reception. Or possibly dessert only reception. On a tight budget and wanting to stay b/t $1,000-$1,500. Thanks :-)
I have not used them, but there are several reviews on the Seattle Bio, link here (or through the faqs at the top of the Seattle Board) https://sites.google.com/site/seattlebio/vendor-reviews---caterers. The concensus seems to be that they are terrible about pre-event communication, but fabulous on the day of, and, yes, that cheap.
You might also want to check out Renton Technical College. I don't see any reviews for them right now, but Knotties have used them in the past http://www.rtc.edu/catering/. The menus are in a tab at the top of the page. It might not necessarily be cheaper to do apps.
Stephanie is the sweetest, and an absolutely incredible cook, and extremely affordable. She also happens to be my future mother-in-law, so I get to eat her food a lot.
