Catering - tasting fee

Aloha!

What are standard catering and cake tasting fees in Oahu? Is it typical for the vendor to waive this should you decide to choose them? Curious what folks have been seeing...

My caterer in Maui I think charges $75 and if you decide to book them the $75 goes towards the final fee of their services.

We paid for catering tasting when we met caterer, and then it was credited to our final bill as we picked them. For cake tasting, as our WC went with us, there was no fee, otherwise it would have been $20 if we went on our own
