Eloping to New Orleans

My BF and I are planning to elope to New Orleans.  The wedding will be just the two of us, but we'd love to have pictures of the actual ceremony and then perhaps another location or two.  Any photographer recommendations?  TIA!

    There are TONS of recommendations for photographers on here.  If you go back through some older posts I'm sure you'll see some.  What is your budget?  We are using Steve Randon who we really like.  I would say he's a little on the expensive side...but not outrageous.  We like his style and think he's def worth it. 

    Another thing to think about is that a lot of photographers have 'packages' in which they usually provide 3 to 4 or even up to 7 hours of photography...which is probably going to be more than you need timewise.  When you are looking up photographers, you may want to narrow it down by who has more flexible packages in the instance that you don't want to pay for unnecesary hours of photography.

    Thank you!  We don't have a budget, but do want to keep it reasonable.  It's a second wedding for both of us and while we want it to be special, we don't want to go overboard.  I'd love to find someone who could just spend an hour or two with us - almost like an engagement shoot.  I'll look through old posts, too.

    Hey there!  I recommend Dark Roux photography.  We just had our engagement session with them this past weekend, and we absolutely love them.  They are a husband and wife team and are very reasonable in my opinion.  During our session, they mentioned that they have done quite a few elopements where they were the photographers and witnesses.  Here is their website and facebook page.
