*kids table*

I'm having about 14-16 kids at the wedding and I am thinking about doing a "kids table" with just some crayons and coloring pages. Is there anything I can add? I know that I don't have to do this BUT I feel that it will give the kids something to do when they aren't running around..Any thoughts or ideas on what I can add? or what I shouldn't add to the table..

We didn't do a kids table.. because we had a ton of kids (around 30) and we felt they need super vision and be with their parent (at least for dinner).

We did however have activities bags for church and to take with them to the reception that included

    glow sticks (major hit)
Coloring/Activity book that were personalized with our names.
    juice boxes
    fruit snacks
    travel magnet set (with words)
    gummy bands
    mini slinky

I don't have suggestions for dinner, but I was just at a wedding where the bride and groom had a kids' table for later during the reception.  Not much on it was used, but one thing they did have was a bunch of disposable cameras and a scavenger hunt for some of the older kids (around 10 ish).  It was a hit.  The kids had to find things like "The groom talking to a guest." or " the centerpieces" etc.

I think an activity bag during the ceremony is a great idea! I would have the kids sit with their parents for dinner but I would still do a coloring book/activity sheet.

I was just at a wedding the past friday where they made a separate kids table and put a friend in charge of the kids. At each spot they had a little kit with glow sticks, coloring stuff, bubbles, those rubber popper things, and some other little toys. The person in charge of the kids also brought some other activities for them to do like beads and string to make necklaces and more coloring stuff. It worked out better than I expected... they had a lot of young kids so I figured it would be a melt down. They also had the kids served plated meals so they parents didn't have to get them their food.

ETA: For my wedding I didn't do a separate kids table but I did do gift bags for each kid that had a coloring book from the dollar store, some crayons, gel pens, and a snack of either Teddy Grahms or Chips-Ahoy. That worked out pretty well. Our DJ also had the glow sticks and plastic beaded necklaces that were a big hit for the kids.

I'll be having a kids table, but i'm still deciding how to go abouts it.  I'm thinking a large white roll of paper and some crayons.  there will be a smaller version of the candy table for them for their 'favor' so they'll get a brown paper bag to fill.  I slightly feel it's the parents responsibility to provide some sort of  'entertainment/busyness' for the children as I shouldn't need to try to appeal to all the kids age range(anywhere from 3-12).
