Any Brides Getting Married or Got Married While They Were Pregnant? Need Your Help

Hello, my best friend is getting married and she's 2months pregnant. She will be 5months in January when shes getting married. Shes worrying about how shes going to get a dress when she doesnt even know what she will look like. Any Suggestions???? I think if she ordered a dress 2sizes bigger she should be ok. Shes a size 2. What do you think? Thank You For Your Help..

    your best best is to go dress shopping and ask the ladies at the store,  they will probably better be able to help. good luck

    For the most part two sizes should be ok, but it all depends on the manufacturer. And how much room they leave in the dress. Where I worked the seamstresses could take a dress in up to two sizes and let it out almost a size. So if she's a 2 now and got a 6, they would be able to bring it back to a two if she didn't gain any weight, and let it open up to almost an 8 if they needed to.

    But it all depends on what her measurements are now and how she fits in the dress she likes now, and the style of the dress, and how much material is in the seam.

    Have her look for the dress now, a lot also depends on how long it will take to get it in, they may advise waiting to order if it doesn't take too long to order.

    Like pp said, the store should be able to advise on the manufacturer in mind.

    And as far as how she will look, quite a few stores have pregnancy pillows, ask and see. Or see if you can borrow one at a maternity store. The dress she loves as a skinny size 2, may not be all that flattering on a 5 month mom-to-be.

    I agree that bridal consultants should have a lot of ideas for this.  I would imagine a dress with a high waist, like an empire silhouette would help since she doesn't know now how big her belly will be.
