It's finally cancelled.

I emailed all the vendors.  It has been cancelled.  I know we had a few more days to decide but I couldn't stand just waiting.  I just want to move on. 

I am forumlating an email to all my guests now (is email OK?  It's only 25 household.)

I am mourning the Jackson Hole wedding that never was, but I am very relieved of all the little details I don't have to worry about anymore!  I don't miss that.  We're thinking of a kicka$$ elopement/honeymoon in the Canadian Rockies.  Go all out!  We want to do one of thoes hut to hut gourmet hiking trips over glaciers where you can only get to them by helicopter first.  I'm hauling my dress in, even if we do a heli wedding.  We're going to make it super special and splurge on oursevles.  I can move on now.

Good bye July board.  If I have any major updates before July, I'll post back.

    Oohhhh... Gina, I'm sorry you had to do this, but it does sound like the better option, at least like the one that worked out best for you. And I love the idea for your honeymoon! You deserve the splurge. Good luck with planning and everything else!

    This sounds like the best option for you and for your fiance, as much as I'm sure it was hard to decide. We'll miss seeing you, so please come back around often!

    And yes, I believe email is fine. It's easier than getting into a prolonged conversation over the phone and you can keep it shorter, simpler and more to the point. I'm sure everyone will understand.
