    Wedding Date?
    March 12, 2011

    How old are you? Your FI?
    I'm 27 and he is 28.

    Occupations and dream occupations of the couple?
    I'm a science teacher and he is in management with UPS. I would love to run a health-based non-profit organization or go into health policy. He loves his job actually...he dreams of running things at his company. He'd also like to be a basketball coach or athletic director.

    How long have you been dating?
    3 years next month

    Where did the you meet?
    At a party while we were in college

    What was your first impression of your FI?
    I thought that he was really cool...he was a sweetie pie, but with a little edge.

    Most exciting thing about wedding planning so far?
    Reading the well wishes and comments on our wedding website...and booking the reception venue.

    Any wedding-related challenges yet?
    Yep...had a tough time picking the reception venue. Currently having a hard time deciding on which church we will use, second-guessing my photographer, and trying to set our guest list! Lots of challenges lately!

    Have you gotten the dress yet? If so, pic please! If not, post some that you like!
    The Rhianna Royale by Maggie Sottero...found it online before he proposed and when I tried it on, it really was THE ONE!



    Any favorite vendors yet?
    Umm...the caterer's food is awesome and the florist has great prices. I don't know if I'd say I really have favorites at this point though.

    Colors or theme?
    Navy, Apple Green, and Gray...no theme

    What are your top three wedding-related priorities?
    1) Marry my FI 2) Have a ball with my family and friends 3) Look back years from now with no regrets

    Any children yet or furbabies?
    He has a son and a daughter...no pets.

    Kids at wedding?
    Only those that are in the wedding party

    Where are you honeymooning?
    I don't know...he's planning it as a surprise. I just know it will be someplace hot and tropical.

    Favorite book?
    Lots of favorites and they change daily...my favorite books of the bible are consistent so I will list those. I love Psalms and Ephesians.

    Favorite movie?
    This changes with my mood...

    Favorite tv show?
    The Game, A Different World

    Favorite wedding dress designer?
    Maggie Sottero

    What is something you wish you could have at the wedding but don't?
    I wish that our late grandparents could be there, but they will be there in spirit and we're happy that FI's grandma is able to come!

    I think the surprise honeymoon is such a awesome idea! I had never even heard of that before. If I wasn't such a control freak, I would "hint" to FI about it:) And I adore your bridemaid dress by the way. I keep forgetting to tell you that.

    I hinted at the idea and he took the bait. I did it because as much as I like to be in control, I was becoming too overwhelmed with school, work, and wedding planning that I really will benefit from not having to plan the honeymoon. He usually does well with our annual vacations so I think he can handle this.

    As for the bridesmaid dress, thanks. I'm glad you like it. It is my fave although my girls and I aren't going to officially decide on dresses until later this month. If they don't select this dress, I am totally getting it for myself for the rehearsal dinner or to wear to a friend's wedding!

    Thank you! I'm sure your dress is beautiful...there are so many amazing dresses out there. I had to stop looking. I almost changed my mind once and I'm so glad that I didn't because three months after I tried on the dress that I almost went with, I looked back at the picture and HATED it! Such a close call!
