The Oathing Stone Ceremony

I originally wanted to do a sand ceremony. The I spoke to a potential JOP and she gave me the idea of the oathing stone. FI has a very strong Scottish/ Irish backround so this really works for us. We will hold the stone while saying our vows and give out river rocks to all the guests to hold. Then they will write they're names on them and put them in a case for us.     We thought about doing this but changed our minds.  My FI is Scottish and our officiant is a laird so we thought it would be really cool.  Ultimately, my FI and I are using river rocks in other aspects so we cut it.  We are though getting married next to a river.

    Oh very nice! We are getting married on the beach. So any oath given by a body of water is supposed to be more binding too. So I guess I have double the power lol.
