I don't think there is one.. and actually, I disagree with some of them.  I met with seriously like 15+ different venues and when I went back and looked some had like $$$ and were less expensive than the $.  Very annoying.  Do you know what kind of budget/atmosphere she is looking for?

I think she wants $75 pp with liquor included..... I know its do-able but don't really know where to look.... (I had my venue chosen from the start so I didn't look at too many)

    Hey hot stuff.

    Mine was under that.

I'd look into the Farmers Market or Holy Trinity Reception Center (under or around 3k for the venue) and then purchase your own liquor (HUGE money saver), but have the caterer tend the bar and bring in the bar stuff (mixers, napkins, etc.).  And I highly recommend Shannon at Big City Catering.  She's awesome to work with and has great ideas for smaller budgets.

I just booked Celebration Golf Club and I found them to be not only very affordable, but very flexible.  We went in with a price we were looking for and they matched it (which actually was just under $74 a head with appetizers, dinner, and full bar-- so that would be in her range).

We also loved Harmony Golf Preserve, but they were a little our of our price range.  Unfortunately after going back and forth with her and deciding she wouldn't budge we signed with someone else.  When we emailed her to tell her she said "oh, well we offer competitive pricing, so if you send me a quote I can see if we can match it".. UGHHHH.. so frustrating!  We had already signed!  haha, oh well, so they would probably be in her price range.

We also looked at Lakeside Inn, which was in that price range, however, we were planning on doing our reception at the yacht club (they partner together for larger groups) and they had a different system for the bar.  It was per drink and done on a token system.  Like each guest gets 3 poker chips to cash in for drinks at the bar.  Once they are done, bar converts to cash.  Now, I know that is different if you have it at the hotel, but I'm not sure on the pricing there..

Those were the ones that weren't "bring your caterer" that I looked into extensively and can actually remember the pricing on.  We also looked at Dubsdread and Courtyard at Lake Lucerne which do their own catering, but decided not to go with them early on for size reasons, so I don't really recall their prices.  But all 3 of the ones I mentioned above would be close to meeting that budget (it sounds like mine and hers are very similar).  Hope that helps!!!!

Oh, that reminds me.. my friend did hers at Lieu Gardens with Puff and Stuff and they let her bring her own alcohol.  She said they spent $400 and had so much left over they were giving away bottles at the end of the night.  Believe me, no one was at a shortage for liquor that night either.. things got a little sloppy at the end!!!  So, that would be a huge saver.

    Happy planning!!  =)

I am having my reception at the Farmers Market- the cost of renting the place is really good and you get 20% off for being a winter park resident. I am using Puff n Stuff and they are doing passed appetizers and sit down dual entree for $25 and then they are also doing the bar (I am supplying the alcohol). I don't have the exact total pp figure, but I know I have a VERY small budget and it fits nicely in my budget.
